The Wawasee Sailing Foundation Adult Sailing Class is brand new for 2026—our first year offering sailing instruction for adults.

Instruction is led by a team of experienced sailors who follow a pre-defined curriculum. By the end of your session, you’ll have a solid introduction to how sailboats work and the fundamentals of sailing. It will function like a 3 Hour private lesson.

Classes are taught aboard our Capri 22 keelboat, which is fully equipped and ready on a lift at the WYC pier. The Capri 22 has a large cockpit, allowing us to accommodate 2–5 students per session. Cost will be $200 per session.

If you’d like to continue beyond the class, we’re happy to work with you on additional lessons—either on the Capri 22 or in one of our smaller racing boats.
